Omobolanle Ajenifuja

Summer Scholar 2012

Omobolanle Ajenifuja is a rising junior at Lindblom Math and Science Academy.During this school year, she was in a colliquim class where the students worked with Meghan Vincent to answer the question 'Does Chicago spend more money in certian wards than others?". She has continued working to collect the data and she worked with Meghan Vincent collecting and analyzing data. 

"This summer has shown me how research is conducted. It has taught me a lot about energy and possible consqences about what we are doing to the environment. As result of this summer, my interest in field of energy and energy policy has grown.

I just graduated from the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools and I will be joining Stanford University's class of 2018 in the fall. I am interested in alternative energy production and energy consumption. I intend to pursue a Mechanical Engineering or Energy/Atmosphere Engineering degree at Stanford. 

KeJuan Smith

KeJuan Smith, RDCEP Intern

My name is KeJuan Smith. I'm 16 and a computer geek. I do many volunteer projects and I love to write to poetry. I am also a bike mechanic at Blackstone bicycle shop, working with kids and teaching them how to fix bikes. I love to ride bikes downtown and on the lakefront trail.  Apart from RDCEP, I'm a sophomore at Tilden Career Community Academy High School.

Summer Scholar 2014

I am Diego Gomez, I graduated from Lindblom Math and Science Academy and I will be attending the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and will be majoring in Aerospace Engineering in the fall. My interests are in physics, chemistry, aerodynamics, nature, and history. I hope that this summer internship can help me gain skills in computer programming and gain knowledge about climate change and policies.
